Transporting Fish

Shipping is available at some locations, but can be quite expensive. Best to have catch placed on dry ice and packaged for travel. This will provide up to 3 days of preservation.

Smoking, canning and vacuum sealing also available, but can take several days.

Fresh fish will keep on ice for up to seven days.

Many charters will clean your catch for you.

Be sure to bring your ice chest to transport your catch home.
